Vlatko Lozanoski Lozano is one of the most powerful male vocals on the
Macedonian pop music scene.
Even as a child Lozano simply knew that music would be his greatest passion and
profession. He plays piano, accordion and guitar.
He became very popular after participating in the TV talent show “Mak Stars”
(September2007-May 2008). In the end he came third in the show, but it was much
more important that the audience recognized his amazing voice and talent.
In June 2008 the first single „Врати ме“ (“Take me back”) brought Lozano a very
convincing victory and Grand Prix Award at the first Macedonian Radio Festival
called “Starry Night”.
Then he released the hit single „Обичен без тебе“(“Ordinary without you”) and in
October2008 Lozano achieved a huge success winning one of the most renowned
festivals in Macedonia, “Makfest”, with the song „Времето да застане“ (“If Time
could stand still). This song won Lozano the Best New Singer award by the jury as
well.
The next single „Сонце не ме грее“ (“The sun doesn’t shine on me”) became his
greatest hit, which was officially declared the biggest Macedonian radio hit of the
year, having won the first place at the Macedonian Radio Festival in November 2008.
This song topped the radio and TV pop charts for a long time and popular singers in
Georgia and Brazil made cover versions.
In February 2009 Lozano took part in the Skopje Festival- National selection for
Eurovision song Contest. The song „Блиску до мене“(“Close to me”), which came
fourth in the end, became another huge hit that won the award for the third most
popular radio hit in Macedonia at the Macedonian Radio Festival.
Lozano spent the summer performing at international music festivals. He
fascinated the audience with his remarkable interpretation of the ballad „Душо
варљива“ (“Deceitful heart”) at the festival „Пјесме Медитерана“ (Songs of the
Mediterannean) in Budva, Montenegro.
In July 2009, Lozano shined at the prominent festival „Славјански
Базар“ (Slavyanski Bazar) in Vitebsk, Belorussia. He came second in a very strong
competition of singers from many European countries.
The same year he performed with Magdalena Cvetkovska at the festival “Golden
Wings” in Moldova and they won the second place, with Lozano winning the Best
Male Vocal Award.
In the beginning of 2010 Lozano released his first self titled album which included
the big hits „Сонце не ме грее”, (“The sun doesn’t shine on me”) , “Блиску до
мене“(“Close to me”), „Нема да е крај на свет“ (“It wouldn’t be the end of the
world”), as well as four new songs. Lozano is also a composer of two of the new
songs „Очи што тајни кријат“ (“Eyes that hide a secret”) and „За кого ти е срцето“
( “Who are you saving your heart for”).
Lozano continues the successful collaboration with Lazar Cvetkovski, who is a
composer of the romantic „Летам кон тебе“ (“I’m flying towards you”).
He won the fourth place at the Skopje Festival 2010 with this song which captivated
the hearts of the audience in Macedonia and even wider.
In July 2010 Lozano performed at the International TV festival „Sea Songs” in
Sevastopol, Ukraine along with the best young singers from 17 countries.
After performing „Летам кон тебе“ (“I’m flying towards you”) and “This Love” he
found himself among the best five European singers. In the final evening he won the
fourth place.
With his enormous music talent and brilliant interpretation Lozano amazes both the
audience and the critics. He is also very well known for his wonderful performing of
old Macedonian folk songs which are part of the Macedonian tradition and cultural
inheritance.
Lozano nearly after NINE MONTHS with a new single - "When I'm gone"
16.06.2011The beautiful vocal of Vlatko Lozanoski transformed into the theme "When I'm gone" created by Lozano, and the lyrics by his sister Marija Lozanoska is just an announcement of his new activities on the Macedonian music scene. The music and the lyrics were created by Lozanoski family, and the complete production arrangement was made by the constant Lozano's associate Lazar Cvetkoski.
- I'm always honest with my audience, so I will just tell you that I was "absent" for nine months to fully commit myself to recording songs for my new album wich comes out later this year.
Here I am, I was always there for you, and I am happy to announce that there are several collaborations in the following period with some big names from both Macedonian music scene and the neighborhood - said Lozano.
These days Lozano works on his new photo shooting session with the photographers Ani and Dimi. He is starting shooting the video of "When I'm gone" next week, so we can fully enjoy the song through sounds and images.
Lozano became the face of Dioptra Optiks
17.06.2011The new song "When I'm gone" by our best male vocalist Vlatko Lozano-Lozanoski is just a proof that he successfully continues with his activities. Today Lozano and the management of Dioptra Optix signed a cooperation agreement in wich Lozano becomes the face of Dioptra Optix.
- It is a great honor and pleasure that as of today I am the face of such a brand. Corrective spectacles are part of my everyday activities, and their aesthetic appearance really means a lot to me. I have found everyting I looked for in Dioptra Optix - said Lozano.
The management of Dioptra emphasized his appreciation for the cooperation.
- I recognize Lozano as a humble guy who knows how to wear the corrective spectacles. So I decided he was to be our new face who will be often seen with corrective spectacles, and sunglasses from brands like Police and Zegna, which also have trendiest models.
Immediately after the signing of a cooperation agreement, photographers Dimi and Annie made a photo session of Lozano with the new glasses.
